Comprises two separate, single-stage close-coupled pumps housed within a single inline pump casing, featuring a spring-loaded changeover flap located in the discharge nozzle to facilitate either single or parallel operation.
Shaft sealing is provided by an uncooled mechanical seal.
Driven by a surface-cooled, three-phase, squirrel-cage standard motor (IP 55, insulation class F, energy efficiency class IE1 or IE3).
Alternatively, it can be equipped with an IEC-compatible, sensorless, magnet-free synchronous reluctance motor (efficiency class IE4), operated via a motor-mounted frequency converter; this motor contains no "rare earth" materials. The self-cooled frequency converter features a modular design and allows for stepless speed control of both asynchronous and synchronous reluctance motors. Supports 480 V AC +10% (with motor-mounted configuration). Includes a built-in standard control unit that displays various physical parameters, such as pressure, flow rate, rotational speed, motor voltage, motor current, electrical power, and more. It allows for the retrieval of the last 100 events (with timestamps) from the frequency converter and generates usage statistics covering total operating time, runtime, and the number of start cycles. Features include thermal motor protection, dynamic overload protection via speed limitation, dry-running protection, operating point estimation, and performance map monitoring—covering differential pressure (sensorless), flow rate (sensorless), level, and temperature—as well as an energy meter and a "sleep mode" for automatic shutdown during low-demand periods. Supports optional multi-pump operation (up to 6 pumps) via an M12 module (available as an accessory). Intelligent pressure sensor for pumps, featuring an on-site operating point display; consists of two gauge pressure transmitters and a display unit. It records the load profile to identify potential optimizations for increasing energy efficiency and system availability. Supplied fully assembled and configured for the specific pump. Connection via M12 connectors; ready for immediate operation.
