Fully automatic pressure-boosting system in a compact, ready-to-connect design, featuring frequency converters for stepless speed control of each individual pump; intended for use in drinking water applications. Complies with DIN 1988-500. Depending on the configuration, the system is equipped with either a magnet-free KSB SuPremE reluctance motor (IE5, in accordance with IEC/TS 60034-30-2 (2016)) or a KSB IE3 motor. Frequency converters allow for stepless speed control of each individual pump. The system is switched on and off based on pressure. The control unit can be pre-configured according to customer specifications prior to delivery. Equipment: - 1 vertical KSB Movitec high-pressure centrifugal pump or 1 horizontal KSB Comeo high-pressure centrifugal pump; all parts in contact with the fluid are made of stainless steel. - KSB IE3 motor or KSB SuPremE IE5 motor (in accordance with IEC/TS 60034-30-2 (2016)) on each pump. - KSB PumpDrive Eco frequency converter mounted on the SuPremE IE5 motor. - Non-return valve in the discharge nozzle of each pump. - 8-liter diaphragm pressure vessel (equipped with a "Flowjet" flow-through valve) on the discharge side, serving as a control vessel and including a shut-off valve and drain valve. - Pressure sensor for controlling the supply pressure, complete with a "Flowjet" shut-off valve and pressure gauge. - For direct connection, a pressure sensor with a pressure gauge and shut-off valve is included to provide dry-running protection. For indirect connection, dry-running protection must be selected as an additional option. For indirect connection involving suction-side operation, please inquire regarding dry-running protection. - Pressure gauge for pressure indication - Pressure accumulator connectable via threaded connection - Powder-coated base plate - 1.5 m connection cable with Schuko plug for power supply - Lockable main switch in an included housing with a 1.5 m cable - All components mounted on a base plate - Set of adjustable feet to compensate for uneven surfaces - System protection rating: IP55 - Designed for operation with cooling water free of aggressive or abrasive components - System protection rating: IP55 Communication/Interfaces (depending on the version): - Functional monitoring via pressure sensor - Energy-efficient, stepless control via frequency converter - Manual or automatic fault acknowledgement - Integrated electronic dry-running protection - Built-in motor protection (shuts down if the target pressure cannot be reached) - Parametrizable operating cycles - Control panel with function keys - LEDs for status and fault indication - 1 potential-free digital input for external dry-running protection - Stainless steel components suitable for drinking water - Potential-free individual status and fault signals available via the KSB frequency converter - Remote maintenance capability using the KSB Service Tool Certification: - The system is suitable for drinking water. Certifications according to ACS (France) and WRAS (UK) are available. Non-return valves and butterfly valves up to DN50 are DVGW-approved. Pressure booster systems undergo a wet test at the factory using hygienically treated water and are sealed following the test. During the testing process, KSB continuously monitors the quality of the test water.
